I like to thank Aurora Ramirez for all the help and support she has and had given us. A year ago (feb2022) we meet Aurora for my cousins funeral arrangements. Aurora walked us through every step needed for us to have the proper funeral for my cousin before transporting her back to Mexico.
This year (2023) she helped me with my mothers funeral arrangements. I can’t thank Aurora for helping me in this difficult time of planning a funeral for my own mother. Aurora goes above and beyond to make everything easy. Thank you!

We visit a few funeral homes before coming to Vazquez Funeral Home. Other funeral homes had ridiculous prices and did not seem to be very knowledgeable in the process of taking our family member to Mexico. Brenda who help us from the beginning at Vazquez Funeral home knew every step of the process and made things much easier for us. She was always in contact and kept us informed at all times. Not only was the price reasonable for their services. I highly recommend people to hire them for their services.

I was extremely pleased and truly appreciative of the service provide by the Blackwell Vazquez Funeral Home. Joey Flores and Brenda Deleon were wonderful. I don’t live in Houston so I was totally lost when my sister passed. I called Joey and she was so nice and understanding. I didn’t know what to do or what to really ask. I was a wreck after losing my sister and she just basically held my hand through the entire process. Every step of the way she and her staff were there for me. They made me feel comfortable and at ease. Together we planned and held a home going service in less than 72 hours. Joey and Brenda were truly a blessing. Everything turned out beautiful from the flowers to the video presentation to the program to the services. I simply adored the memory cards. I was so glad they were there to help me in my darkest hours. I recommend their services to anyone and everyone in need in Houston, TX and their servicing area. The director for our services was JoMarie Flores. She is at the Uvalde Rd location. I can't emphasize the gratitude I have for her. She went above and beyond. The assistance she provided was personable and beyond what we expected. She was very professional and gave me a sense of relief when I had none. We placed our families needs in her capable hands and I could trust that she was doing everything that could be done for us with dignity and respect. She is an excellent funeral director and I highly recommend her. 10 stars!
